I don't know much, but usually I google 'Java tutorial' all docs I saw is not much hard to read and almost have not too much pages.

One I like is a doc from tutorialspoint,

PDF? Get yourself a good solid Java book. My first language was Java and I started with the "Java for dummies" book.

The Java docs will be quite useful for you.

http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/
@terapaht I see. Thank you I can understand it a lot like the classes....

@sausage is java really starting in class?
. Is that book modern? I mean the dummy books is usually very hard to read like c++ for dummy.is not it?
And c++ for dummy is not modern

Wouldn't you be better asking on a java forum maybe..?
I wouldn't say it was difficult. Well, what isn't difficult the first time round?

I wouldn't worry about the book itself because I read multiple books and you kind of learn bits of information from them all. Don't just rely on one source of information.

As Mutexe said, you're probably best asking on a Java forum. Do some googling.

@mutexe i think it would be worst if i ask on java forum because ,like sausage, he already finished java so he know what book is good for my situation. unlike in java forum they all beginners too like me and might recommend damn books.

@Sausage yeah im not like that. i actually have 8 c++ great books..
im not good enough in analogy for java for dummies. but thanks im using oracle site now.
and tomorrow i will teach freshies.
