I need your suggest about best books for C++(A to Z) learn and algorithms and problem Solving , I want qualify my self to ACM competition,and i am from Egypt and this books very Expensive here , because this i want the best choice , i don't want waste my money :)

For what it's worth, you will probably find that old editions of textbooks are very inexpensive. Last year my girlfriend and I wanted to study some statistics. We found a college course that had all the material online. The problem is that the book was about $250.

I looked a little deeper and found that the same course was offered last year. The material was also online and the course used the previous edition of the textbook. That edition was available for FIVE DOLLARS online.

Why do you need the new version of books? I think that as long as a book covers C++11 you should be fine.

No, it's not the best choice...unless you are thinking/meant C++ Primer^[1] by Lippman et al. then maybe.

Why don't get C++ Primer confused with C++ Primer Plus? Because they are not the same, one is a good book the other, err, not so much.

Or Why is it not the best choice if you were talking C++ Primer Plus even though you said C++ primer? See the answer above.
