normalization of database
Hi everyone. Can anyone explain to me what is meant by 'normalize the database' and what benefit is associated with normalization in databases. Also does it affect efficiency of the system?

you would be better off searching and reading this online.
there are a bunch of different levels of normalize, and modern systems are getting away from this idea in places. Its way too much to try to type a full answer.
