Keep getting this error

Hi

I keep getting this error when i compile a program.

'"C:\Users\Aimee|Desktop\pointers\Debug\pointers.exe"' is not recognised in internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

I have saved the program in another area, but still get the error.

Any pointers to remove this error.

Try C:\Users\Aimee\Desktop\pointers\Debug\pointers.exe
or C:\\Users\\Aimee\\Desktop\\pointers\\Debug\\pointers.exe
no '|'
