I'm looking for thoughts & ideas to develop a school-room app where every hour every teacher changes rooms and subjects ( and students)

This is not fantasy, but how it is done in E.Europe.

I can't quite seem to get my head around something that works without using a truck-load of arrays. ( although a basic structure may be worth checking-out.)

Some thoughts and suggestions would be useful.
