Array question

If I have a program of Battleship and there are 2 ships but each ship has two locations in the board, and I place them according to a random generator(0-3) with the options (above, below, right or left) how would I write that with 2D arrays...

Do u have the sample codes or codes that u have wrote so far? u would have better chance of getting help if u have some example. just write some skeleton codes or logic so u can get a better idea of things that u need to do.
