A code to knw the System Information

I want to get a code by which I can get the system Information, like which processor, ram n which OS I m using. Mostly when we rite click the on my computer n go to properties we get that info bt I want to avail them by making a code. . . . . kindly help m.

Linux kernel documentation describes the API, i.e. which functions to call, what data types they do return, and which OS libraries you have to link to use them. Or something to that effect.

The OS that you do use must have something equivalent. (Scratch that "must", OS vendors have freedom to dictate their own rules.)
