error, convertion into COFF, visual express

hey guys.
my name is daniel, and im a new member of this forum. im a student of mathematics, so i dont know a lot about programming yet, but i should learn something about c++.

i just started by downloading the "microsoft visual studio express 2010" and then i´ve generated a win32-console application.

actually i was just following this workthroug:

now THE PROBLEM is, that after debbuging, there is no output, but instead the pc tells me that: the convertion into COFF wasnt a success. the file doesnt exist..

how to fix that?
