How is this read aloud?

closed account (D9T7Djzh)
I like to use the proper terms when reading code out loud to myself, and I don't know how to read the '::' symbol in the context of 'std::cin'. Can anybody help me out or is there no way to read it.
I've never heard it pronounced. Since it separates the parts of names I think it makes the most sense to leave it silent as is done in English.
If you were talking to another programmer you'd call it "std cin". When you talk, you don't say

This is my code period.
