Mysterious ÿ character??

Does anyone know any possible reasons why im getting this strange character in output. Its the "ÿ" character and it seems to printing out at the end of file?

Is there anyway to fix this?

Tricky to tell from the info provided. First suspicion is you are outputing a bit of garbage that is being read as the "ÿ" character.
