Shuffle in music player

I am making network player and i want to shuffle playlist..
Any suggestion for shuffling songs without repetition...
In short random function that will generate specific range of number.

Put the tracks (or index to tracks) in a collection and randomise the collection.

Hey kbw... i want to do in programming when someone press shuffle button it will be shuffled... that won't change the order of list it's play 2,5,1,9,6.....
