Well, as a EU citizen you have the automatic right to work in the UK and Ireland. So they're your nearest opportunities.

Or were you hoping to experience life further abroad??

Given the limited duration, I guess you'd ideally be be looking for a contract position. In London most of these are in the finance sector, so you could have a bit of a problem if you don't have some experience in this sector.

And 6 month contracts are more common than those with 1 year, so they can decide whether or not they want to keep you on. But you'reoften hired on the expectation that there will be a renewal.
