Software Engineering Manager – decoders & connectors 

Whats the opportunity? 

to work with a locally controlled large software engineering group of more than 50 accomplished engineers - this team works on the core network data analytics product creating, in a paid release cycle (KANBAN), decoders and connectors for integration with other tools in a multitude of complex technical environments with their enterprise customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of 6 exceptionally talented C++ engineers and growing this to 10. this is a high performance team who value the importance of high quality and maintainable code and understand what it takes to deliver a high availability and high performance system in an agile / KANBAN environment

To be considered you will have Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and more than 8 years commercial experience, with a proven track record of leading/managing a C++ software development team of 5-10 engineers. You will have a proven ability to analyse requirements and design product solutions in a rapid release environment (knowledge of KANBAN desirable) as well as excellent problem-solving and fluent English

NICE TO HAVES knowledge of IP networking, network protocols and their use in demanding high performance real-time environments, ability to proactively manage and work with external development partners
