Software developer (m/f) – at the location in Ingolstadt

arculus GmbH develops a modular production system that allows the elimination of the conventional conveyer belt and thus establishes a new standard in industrial mass production. Founded in 2016, more than 25 employees work in various disciplines in order to further advance the “fourth industrial revolution”. With our solutions from the fields of software and robotics we support renowned customers such as Audi, Porsche and Siemens. Our solutions are used in productive deployment and thus realise the advantages of modular production. We have already received numerous awards for this unique approach, including the “Ingolstädter Gründerpreis” and challenge winner at “hello tomorrow”.

As a software developer (m/f) you create and are responsible for new software features and implement the business logic. The development process is agile and provides the opportunity to prioritise and structure tasks independently. You shall mostly develop using Python. Code reviews take place, based on GitLab, at which the implementation is tested jointly and improvement potentials are discussed. As well as development, you also conduct integration tests of the software together with the head of production and the customer’s specialist departments. You will have regular and intensive contact with your colleagues in the field of robotics, which will give you a good overview of all products.
