This role is in Los Angeles and they are not open to telecommuting.
I'm working with one of the top 10 software companies in the world. They have a large office in LA and they are building very strong products in the consumer space. They have a core of incredible engineers that are total gurus in their field and they want to add more people to this group.
We have been working with this company for the past decade and they are technically one of the best we have ever worked with. They have a great reputation in the industry.
They are looking for a strong C++ developer who also has strong expertise in Windows environment (not .net). On a scale of 1-10, they are looking for people with an 8-9 level of expertise with both (Windowsand C++). Below is a job description.

Responsibilities
• This position will involve working closely with Product management, Quality Assurance leads to design and develop the next innovative technology in our field
• Work collaboratively with other teams to bring cutting edge technology in the Consumer desktop space.
• Research our landscape and identify solutions that protect our customers and allow them to work and play in a connected world.
• This position will require strong problem solving skills as well as a solid programming background.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
•7-10 Years of Strong C/C++ fundamentals
•Solid Win32 development skills, and extensive knowledge of the Windows operating system internals
•Excellent Design Skills are a must. Prior experience demonstrating designing large software products is a plus
•Advance Debugging Skills in Visual Studio and comfort in advance debugging techniques in the IDE
•Strong Computer Science background knowledge of networking, operating systems, programming languages and algorithms
•Experience in developing rich client applications that interact with cloud based services a plus. Knowledge of new cloud technologies and protocols like Protobuf, JSON, Thrift, REST etc. will be necessary.
