Job Responsibilities:
•Gain familiarity with team and processes (first 3 months)
•Software development, optimization and performance testing in an ultra-high frequency trading environment
•Implement and optimize trading platform working collaboratively with the quantitative analyst and traders
•Contribute to system architecture decisions and the selection of development and research tools

Required Experience/Skills:

•Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent work experience. Masters Degree is preferred.
•Three or more years of experience programming in C++.
•Three years working in a Linux environment.
•At least two years experience with a scripting language(Python, Perl, Ruby, etc). Python preferred.
•Experience measuring and optimizing software algorithms.

Desired Skills:

•Assembly language experience
•BOOST library experience
•Experience optimizing the Linux Kernel
•Experience measuring network latency
•Familiarity with high frequency trading
