I suggest you just learning C or C++. But I guess its just preference.

That is a bit of a "How long is a piece of string" question.
Most tutorials/books I have seen suggest that you start with learning the basics of C first before learning Objective-C.

Yes C is the basic of C++, C# and the other languages. it is very easy for the beginners.

It is possible to read some book on Objective C before May 2. If you have already experience with C/C++ then you will be able to learn the basics after that.:)
