Runescape Moves to HTML5

("HTML5" is in reference to related technologies - WebGL/JavaScript/HTML5)

I knew it was going on for a while, but I'm a bit confused at how an entirely interpreted language can outperform a JIT-compiled application.

Most javascript engines nowadays are also JIT.
Forgot about that, especially with things like asm.js around. I still don't expect that kind of performance difference.

I have been reading a lot regarding how it is still laggy/buggy, but it is still in Beta.
