RAID
Hello, has any one tried the striping technique yet?
I have my old PC, which I will install on it ms windows 7, ms DOS , ms windows 3.1
Linux,and Unix.
the redundant array independent disk method was set as RAID 5.
It's some how old computer, I formatted the disk and chose RAID stripping so that I get a fast access to data, although data is not secure that way.
What do you think is it a good idea?
The data I store in that computer are not as important as in my lab top, just for training & education purpose .
Right now the disk is already formatted and installing windows, (83% so far)...
