Planning on getting a dell optiplex gx620 (Or a 755)

Seems like a nice PC, found one for around 30 bucks and a 755 for 20.

Planning on slowly outfitting it with 8 gb of ram and a nvidia 9000gt.

I want your input to see if I can make a medium-ish good gaming pc, just enough to run gta 4, mount & blade (Warband, Napoleonic Wars), minecraft + shaders, KSP, etc.

It's also single-core, so you probably will. It'll struggle with the likes of GTA 4.

Also, I think it's a 945 chipset, so you'd be limited to 4GB of RAM.

For the Optiplex gx620, it says there are pent Ds. I'm guessing that means double.

My work firewall blocks the bejesus out of eBay I'm afraid.

I can see that it's a 745, though. I'm pretty sure they support dual-core processors at least.

I think they're 965 chipsets as well, so you should be good to go for 8GB RAM.
