Reading from several books at a time.

Is it good idea to read from several books about a specific topic at the same time,
I am trying to learn OO programming, still in classes, but some times I get confused, I read from another book, and so on,
what's better to stick on one book or see other books if I get confused?

I myself shuffel around between different books. I don't see much point in staring at a page I don't understand. I'll come back to it again later when it makes more sence.
Agree on that, I found that reading from http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/classes/ helps me more, I will finish this page then go back to the books.
