Dev-C++ obviously.
What is the one IDE you should avoid like the plague?
Dev-C++ is being developed again, but I say that loosely because last I knew the new 'developer' hasn't really added anything new to it. MinGW can be used for Code Blocks too.

I'm experienced with VS, Code::Blocks, Dev-C++, Rhide(DJGPP), for Windows/Dos.
I'm experienced with C::B, Geany, Qt Creator, Eclipse, Anjuta for *nix distros.
