Best command line

Okay. I have an old PC that has a key.
I like Windows Powershell over any other Unix shell I've ever used...

I tried to use it and it felt like they tried to reinvent the wheel as a smoother square. Better compared to the old fashioned Command Prompt, obviously.

Standard issue secondary shell in Windows 7, so for anyone who cares:

It has intrigued me in the past but I have not found the time to learn it properly.
I'm stuck with MS-DOS...

Personally I like Guake Terminal which I always have running for quick commands like building a makefile or something and then when I do more in depth terminal stuff I tend to like Terminator.

Personally I don't think anything MS related can match up to Unix terminals but to be fair I am not to familiar with the new powershell so I could be wrong.
Not to turn this not so subtle bait thread into a full blown OS flame war but...

@ Zereo: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa394084(v=vs.85).aspx Not very much about this stuff is new, the ground work was laid out in Win2K. MS has all but abandoned the old command shell in favor of WMI and Power Shell.

@ OP: Do you have this book marked yet?: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb490890.aspx

Ill have to check it out some time cause it does seem interesting.
No, I do not, thanks but I have almost all commands memorized. Two years ago the command line was my best friend!

I'm sorry, but I can't let this brutal slaying of the English language go any longer. I actually gagged upon reading that one. Please, if only for my health and sanity, type coherent sentences. Because this txt-speak crap is absolutely fracking killing me.

Don't read this one:

It'll make you cry, especially if you make it to the last line.

Captain it's the sad truth. It really does hurt people mentally.

Not really, but ya' know

I'd understand if English isn't your primary language, but c'mon, you live in the UK.

If anything you guys should be judging us Americans on our typing skills.

Sorry for putting you on blast like that.

EDIT: The windows 98 thing didn't work, I just used pirate bay and got a iso (it's not pirating if I had an original copy, right?)

I wouldn't. Trying to communicate in an alien language, you'll need to carefully choose the words.
Orthographic errors would be highlighted and you would care about them.

I don't say that there won't be mistakes, but the post has deformations.
