Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 7 playing tricks

Hi,

I have IE10 installed on my Windows 7 64 bit. Recently it has started giving me strange problems such as for example:
- On this website reference section, when I try to hover over the sub-menu items on the left, the items begin to blink erratically, when I remove the mouse, they become OK. I have noticed that it happens for sub-menu items either horizontal or vertical. I am not able to select any.
- On Stack Overflow website, I am not able to add comment on a post. I am able to post a new answer or edit an existing one, but not add a comment.
- On SO again, any code that is displayed on the screen is without formating with all the whitespaces removed and is very difficult to read.

I have a dual boot system and my FireFox on Ubuntu works perfectly.

Can it be some sort of virus? I have tried to update the browser but it says it is already the latest version.

I am scared to re-install it. Is it the only option that I have?

And I am scared of unblocking it in my firewall. (Hint!)

Why are you asking us? Run a virus scan:

Well I have Norton installed and it says that the system is secure.

Unblocking what?
Problem fixed 90% by this link:

Now 10% problem remains, but I guess I can live with it :)
Why not use something else, like Waterfox or Chrome?
Ha ha! Waterfox! Nice find.
Indeed it always bugged me that Firefox wasn't natively available for Windows x64.
