Downloading

Hi all!

I'm new to programming and what I am strugling with is this, I can't find a program in which I can type code. I can't download this Visual C++ because I cant find a single website that isn't displayed full of viruses by my antivirus. Is there any other program.

From where can I download?

VC++ should be available from Microsoft's official websites, if your antivirus reports those as being full of viruses then you probably already have a virus.

Yes, though they refer to it as "Windows Desktop".
