having trouble with wine
Hey guys! i have no where else to turn so im hoping you guys can help. so im running the latest wine, and im running Linux Mint (which is based off of ubuntu). i keep trying to run the WoW installer from battle.net, but it keeps saying it cant run the battle.net update agent. Has anyone experienced this and figured out how to fix it?
I have not used battle.net, but if I were you, I'd head to either Ubuntu, Wine, or Linux Mint community - most of users here are Windows users, and they have no idea what you're talking about. If you go to linux/wine community, you are sure that people will at least know what you're saying. Try Ubuntu/Mint forum, some wine community, IRC, or stackoverflow's subsite for ubuntu/linux/whatever.

i tried irc and it didnt work, but ill take your advice and head over to linux mint. thanks!
A better bet would be to head for a Wine forum since essentially it is wine that is giving you problems. http://forum.winehq.org/
