Dev-C++ (4.9.9.2)

I have used C::B for a while and also Dev-C++. But recently C::B has given me many problems of performance: always not responding and takes many time to compile just a few few lines of code, and I haven't understood yet why. That's why now I am using Dev-C++. But I have a few questions about this incredible old good IDE:

1. How to change the color of important words such as cout, cin or endl?
2. Is there a way to add to Dev-C++ autoformatting? Any shortkey?
3. Why don't they update Dev?

I like much VS, but it requires many space for a project.

First of all, that version (4.9.9.2) is hopelessly outdated and should not be used.

The current version is 5.6.3, and is maintained under the name
Orwell Dev-C++

If you like it or not, it's still a very good IDE!
I agree, I like it (the current version that is). The earlier version is simply obsolete.
This one is beta, right?
