Is upgrading Windows OS's easy?
I've been using the Windows 10 Tech Preview and like it, so when the full version comes out I would like to get it. What I was wondering is how easy it is to upgrade. I've booted Linux off of flash drives, but I've never upgraded Windows, and I was wondering how easy it will be, and if it will keep my settings and everything.

My experience is that it is a bit hit or miss. I usually now backup my data do a fresh install and reinstall every thing from scratch. It is not always Widows that gives you grief on upgrading, third party hardware and software can be a PITA.
