I noticed that in an earlier post. It made the code completely unreadable.

When a post is edited or deleted the 'new' icon is displayed in the top level of the forums view.

Thanks for reporting them!

Aaah, that's good.

Oooh, new icons :P They look quite nice.

But don't go the daniweb way. That site is covered in flashy logos and takes ages to load... I like the simplicity of this forum... however the nice new icons fit in well.

To be honest, I can't say I like the new "new reply", "report", etc. buttons.

EDIT: Although I do like the new edit and delete buttons.

Would it be possible to make the quoted text more distinct and with an author attribute?

eg.
aut viam inveniam aut faciam
would give:

Edit:
It would appear that the distinctiveness of the quote is my problem. My second monitor, where IE spends most of its time, does not show pale colours vary well apparently.

I'd like to have the option to specify the starting line count on the
thing, this will make easier to point the exact position of the non working code

Yeah, I like the old ones better for some reason.

I don't know, I really like the new buttons. Adds a bit of color to the site, not too much though. Did the format buttons change as well?

Now they look more like buttons, and as far as I can see, a new one was introduced:
[small][/small]

I thought small was always there...I didn't know there was an [output][/output] before though, it looks like a quote/tt combined.

I know what you mean; they look a little weird. I like the buttons themselves and the nice little pictures; but not the colours so much. Then again that's just me being picky.

I think it was; just not as buttons.

Is it me, or "submit" is in a different place?
Grey Wolf (1614)   Link to this post
I was thinking that, I have canceled a few edits this afternoon.
Bazzy (4113)   Link to this post
The PM buttons still have the old look

Yeah, it seems that way to me too.

I used the syntax you proposed.

Use
to start the code at 7 (This attribute has been added on purpose - no other tag takes attributes! so there's no need to try...).

Thanks for your feedback on the buttons! I'd like to keep them as simple as possible...

Another change to the buttons. I like these better :)
