Spam accounts...
The General C++ Programming is getting a lot of advertising threads these days. I reported 4-5 within the last couple hours. They are getting taken down quickly, but the ads just keep coming.
That's probably because they are put there by a spam bot. Hopefully one day the site can have a captcha to avoid this. This and the prospect of moderators has been mentioned multiple times before, but not much has happened. It is good that users with sufficient post count can delete posts from low post count users by reporting them.
Only 4 or 5 in a couple of hours? I sometimes do 30 per day, across all the forums. Sometimes I delete up to 15 in a couple of minutes.
