Connecting to the site too often?
If I were to connect to this website with a program 'too often', could I get blocked? Say once every minute for a very long period of time?
Particularly, I want to download the HTML of the page say once every minute to parse the HTML and check if there are any new threads.
What do you guys think? Would there be consequences for making such a thing? And I've never made anything like this before.
What if I went from once every minute to once every 10-20 seconds..

Well, it doesn't. I just refresh every once in a while to see if there's any new replies to any of the threads I've posted on.
