I'd prefer a free (gratis) service and to not use a web browser
on the alternatives pages I've tried
- yandex: didn't allow me to send spam
- zoho: wanted my non-existent phone number

but there is no problem with other devices and it worked here with a particular browser (chromium)

it seems that I failed the turing's test, perhaps that's why have so many issues solving captchas

Windows 10 has an email app. Create a hotmail email account, add it to Mail. No need to open a browser.

I want to send whatever I want
my first (failed) mail was basically «this is my new address»
they analysed my message, qualified it as spam and silenced me
guess that's not my new address then.
maybe should go back to the roots, ¿sneackernet is still working?

Are you saying (for example) that your Windows box + any browser is fine, and your Linux box + chromium is fine, but it barfs with Linux + Firefox.
