Serial Xbee to Xbee

Hello,

I have a problem, seemingly simple, but I am not able to solve! I need to send and receive data through a port in linux ...
I can open the door, I set to 8N1, I deduce that well, I can send data but can only send receive again if re-send?!!

I am using XBee Pro modules configured in S2 AT. I saw terminal can send and receive on both, although I realize that with minicom, everything I write on the keyboard is sent immediately without pressing ENTER.
Someone can help me ... I'm not using cycles to send and receive, is this the problem? If yes, can someone help me on how to get these cycles? I'm basically sending a string with MAX = 255.
