Build kernel

Hi everybody,

For completing my assignment, I have to add a file named "number.txt" to the kernel. This file provide a number as a data for debugging source code "get_unique_id.c" which modifies a system call.

Where can I put this text file ? This assignment requires me to use the Ubuntu-precise (12.04 LTS).

Please help me !
