adding USB in my dll

Hi,
I'm trying to install in my dll USB capabilities.
Actually I've a working MFC program and I would like to import the code in my dll.
In the dll I've no handle from a windows so I can't use RegisterDeviceNotification
function.
Is someone have an idea to help me ?
On another forum they tell me to create an hidden window to get a handle, but actually it don't work , do you have any other idea .
