Sapi help

I am trying to use the sapi api for windows using dev c++ and i follow the microsoft tutorials for sapi but i cant get it to work. When i try compiling i get a lot of linke errors. If someone could give me a piece of code that says "Hello World" out loud i would be extremely thankful. Please help thanks.
