Bio:I'm a developer and open source contributor. I'm a huge fan of poker, as well. I started playing this game when I was seventeen years old, just for fun with my friends and never betting actual money, but I really enjoyed how smart you had to be to play and win at this game. Poker is essentially a strategy game, so I decided to apply my software knowledge and create a place where people can play poker the same way I was used to do: just for fun, with or without money, with plenty of chances, with friends or against the AI.

However, I'm still learning. I'm always learning. That's my main goal: to improve. I'm here because I want to keep growing as a developer, and because I want to give my users the best site possible. Software is one of my passions and poker is the other one, so I want to mix them into something big. I'd like to know people here with the same interests as me, and able to teach me things I haven't learnt on my own. On the other hand, I hope my knowledge could be useful for you too, since we're in a community and I want to be part of it not just because it's going to make me grow, but because I think I can make it grow too.

As far as Poker is concerned, I'd like to give you some advice to be the better you can be, if you're into playing this great game. So, there's some tips I like to give my users when they first join my site:

First of all, learn when you have to fold. Some people don't like to accept they're losing, but defeat is part of the game, and most of the times the smarter way of playing is to know when to fold. You won't be a coward, you won't be a loser. You will be a smart player, that's all.

Second of all, play low-stakes. As I just told you, when I started playing this game I wasn't betting any money and it was fun. However, most people want to play poker with high stakes because that means they can win more money, but it means, too, that you can lose more money. So one of my main advices is: play-low-stakes.

Thirdly, play exclusively when you're in the mood. If you force yourself to play just because you think you have to improve, or because it's something you can't take off of your head, don't play. It could be dangerous and it's not going to be fun, so wait until you're happy enough to enjoy a good game. Someone used to say about this: play only if the idea of losing every game doesn't bother you.

Finally, my biggest piece of advice: know yourself. Know when you're feeling good with your game, when you're used to show weakness, know when you're stronger. Study your movements and your game, because that's the best way of improving. And, of course, of winning.

That's all. If you follow these advices you're probably be a better poker player, or, at least, a happier and more satistied one. Any doubts, here I am.
