Should i reread book ?

Hello guys.

So i've been reading the book by Stephen Prata, c++ Primer, last edition for 1 and half month now.
I'm currently on 490 page out of 1050 but i lost it somewhere on page 300.
I don't understand most of things here, like pointers and other things.
It's not even fun now, i read max 10 page a day because i'm bored to hell from not understanding it.
Question is, should i read it to end and then reread again/try another book or reread it right now from the begging.
Im grateful for all tips.

Thank you, have a nice day.

Im 14 years btw, going to programming high school from September so i will learn it again from the begging i think

When you are reading you should also program along with it and make use of the newly learned stuff. I would also suggest reading the tutorials on our site and the tutorials on learncpp.com They may help you get caught up or you could go back to where you got lost at ~300.
