Help about reading lines.

I need help on how to delete or update a certain line only. Cause when I tried to delete some line, it deletes all the data in the file. It also does in the update. It updates everything. I need help on how could I do this by reading lines instead so that certain line only will be the one updated. Thanks :)

Here is my code:

You can't alter a specific piece of a file. Instead, you read-in all of the data from the file (I recommend either creating your own buffer (I prefer this), or use std::vector< std::string >), alter the information, then write it back before the program ends.
