I am using turbo c++ and I want to ask what is a yellow cursor blinker.
How to turn it green.
With this when i edit my code then tyhe succeding alphabet gets erased.

Perhaps you have the INSERT key on your keyboard toggled to ON? Try hitting the INSERT key and see if that fixes it.
