Trapezoidal Method

An electric coil with a non-linear magnetic characteristic is excited by an alternating voltage voltage. When measured, in some appropriate units, the current y in the coil as a function of time t satisfies:
y'=sin(2t)-[(ey-1)/(ey+1)]

I am trying to use the Trapezoidal method to determine the current as function of time over a period of the excitation voltage. I know how to do the trapezoidal function if I was dealing with the regular y, I am trying to figure out what to do with the fact that this is the derivative of y and contains y as part of the value, please help?
