No, but I just need a general example for both options about how it works. I know the code, just cant figure out the algorithm.

Ok, so for example.

So, if I enter the option to enter debit...say 30 , 20 ,and 10. The total is 60. Then would I have to prompt the user to then enter the credit values? Like 20 and 10. Total is 30. Then calculate the balance which is 30?

And if I enter the option to enter credit, then I would enter credit first, then debit values, then display the balance?
