IDE SHUTTING DOWN WHEN OPENINNG A PROJECT

Hi everyone, yesterday I downloaded wxDevC++ IDE because I thought it is much better then DevC++ 4.9.9.1 I was using. My problem is that it shuts down when I try to open an existing project in it and it says something about memory access violation at some memory address. It only allows me to create a new project. Is there something I can do to fix this?

I ran into a similar issue upgrading wxDev last night, you need to completely uninstall the program first(BACKUP YOUR PROJECTS IF THEY ARE STORED IN THAT FOLDER!!!!). Then delete the "Dev-Cpp" file from Program Files before you re-install. Let me know if this doesn't work.
