Expanding financial firm in Midtown seeks two C++/UNIX developers with trading systems experience to develop trading software. Candidates must have 4 to 10 years of professional experience developing and supporting trading systems with C++. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of TCP/IP and socket programming. The candidate will design and implement new features, rework/rebuild code for better maintainability, performance and testability. The work may involve partial or full rewrite/redesign of parts of the system in order to reach our technical and business goals. Requirements: - High level of expertise in C++ - High level of expertise in systems programming on UNIX/LINUX - MUST HAVE experience with trading systems (equities, fixed income, derivatives, options, etc.) - Socket programming - TCP/IP Programming - Bachelor’s Degree in Technology - Excellent communication skills. - Motivation and self-determination to learn and grow.
