Open Position: Full Time Senior Software Engineer (C++) FlashFoto, Inc. is looking for a Senior C++ software engineer to work with other team members on the engineering team to develop its segmentation engine product. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of C++ and related open source libraries (STL, WTL, boost) as well as some knowledge of mathematical algorithms and performance optimization strategies. A good intuition for software product design is important. Responsibilities: • Work in a collaborative environment developing photo image analysis, segmentation, and consumer editing software. • Technologies in use include MatLab and C++ programming tools. • Reports to the head of engineering Requirements: • Technologies in use include MatLab and C++ programming tools. • 5+ years of programming experience, and a Bachelor's or equivalent • Thorough understanding of C++; familiarity with the boost library a plus • Ability to understand and work with mathematical models • Intuition for designing optimized algorithms • Interest in visual image recognition techniques • Experience with best practices of commercial software engineering FlashFoto’s software is based on patent-pending vision science research at the cutting edge of science and mathematics.
