Job Requirements

* The selected candidate will provide on-site technical subject matter expertise as a non-SETA trusted advisor directly to a key MDA government customer and support staff.
* As the work environment will be highly political with multiple competing viewpoints, the candidate should be diplomatic yet confident in their technical assessments for the customer.
* The customer will rely on the candidate to provide honest advice on the technical merits of products, concepts, and solutions offered by MDA and competing vendors and integrators.
* The candidate will be expected to develop thorough understanding of MDA technical offerings and provide on-demand reach-back to MDA for off-the-shelf capabilities.
* The candidate will be expected to maintain a thorough understanding of the customer’s existing and future political and technological landscapes, and provide advice at key decision points in the evolution of these landscapes.

* BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another engineering discipline and 7-10 years of engineering experience, include 2-3 years in a leadership role with customer interfacing responsibilities.
* Ability to demonstrate knowledge of existing large-scale system architectures and interfaces, and an ability to recognize inefficiencies , shortcomings, and propose mitigations and alternative approaches and strategies.
* Thorough understanding of GEOINT analyst missions, tools, and workflows.
* Experience in program technology leadership roles, including making decisions on tools, standards, designs, personnel work assignments, setting priorities, and inspiring morale.
* Demonstrated strong presentation and public speaking skills in large and small meetings and technical forums.
* Ability to describe highly technical problems, capabilities, and systems in a manner that is understandable by non-technical and senior management personnel.
* Passionate about evolving the technological landscape underpinning missions directly related to national security.
* Prior service in intelligence-related military or intelligence community roles will be strongly preferred.
