Senior C# Developer

EN-796 Senior C# Developer - Staff - Santa Barbara Area, CA

In this position you will understand business requirements and then lead large development projects, both in-house development and integrating third party software packages.

This position requires expert-level experience in Visual Studio C# and SQL Server, financial reporting packages, and architecture structuring and design.

Our client is looking for a self-starter who is well-organized, detail-oriented and motivated to take the initiative to resolve problems or propose alternative solutions. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Note: The client's office is in a beautiful area of the California coast, located an hour north of Los Angeles and just steps from the beach!

Responsibilities:

o. Build and support large in-house systems, manage corporate-wide databases

o. Design and implement strategies for data acquisitions from numerous file layouts and media forms into a single, comprehensive SQL Server database

o. Create data extracts and develop reports

o. Develop and manage database load routines to match diverse file layouts and ensure accuracy of data

Requirements:

o. 6+ years of programming experience, including Visual Studio C# and SQL (Required)

o. Solid experience in all aspects of database design, development and support, including MS SQL Server and MS Windows Server (Required)

o. Experience in the banking, investment or financial services industry (Required)

o. Fixed income experience a plus

o. Experience with market data providers such as Bloomberg, YieldBook, etc) a plus
