HMI Software Developer (m/f) - Munich

As a HMI Software Developer (m/f) at BMW you are responsible for the development of the Human Machine Interface (HMI) for the future instrument clusters. As a part of a scrum team you develop software architecture concepts, document them in UML, implement them in the HMI framework and take responsibility for the integration into the complete system. You specify together with your colleagues requirements and connections for display functions and will also put them into practice in the later process as a member of a distributed development team. During serial production you act as a contact person for problems concerning your function. Furthermore, you can contribute your knowledge to BMW by developing the defined processes.

What we expect from you (must have)
• Successfully completed degree in computer sciences, electrical engineering or comparable studies
• First professional experience as developer for embedded systems in C++
• Knowledge in modern development tools (e.g. JIRA, GIT, Enterprise Architect, CMake)
• Experience in software development processes (requirement management, version management, ticket systems, software integration and continuous integration)
• Fluent English skills and the motivation to learn German

What we expect from you (nice to have)
• First knowledge in HMI-/UI-development
• Experience in the automotive area
• First German language skills
