Permanent Opportunity C# Senior developer in Singapore - Investment Bank.

The Senior Developer will be involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle including requirements gathering, development, testing and deployment (to Production support) The role involves working closely with the business facing development team in London.

Main Duties
Delivers the functionality requested by the Development Manager. The following is included:
• Knowledge transfer, training and mentoring of junior team members.
• Working with the Development Manager and Business Facing IT team to design and implement appropriate technical solutions.
• Coding and unit testing of the solution.
• Work with testers to verify the solution.
• Rework defects and take part in defect analysis.
• Low level design of solution.
Be involved in the technical development of engineers assigned to projects. This includes:
• Coaching and mentoring on technical issues
• Domain knowledge transfer
• Apply design and system architecture skills to ensure continual increase in performance and stability of the core system
• Produce documented and tested software for delivery to production.
• Participate in design and code reviews


Experience required:
Essential
• More than 7 years developing applications of which the last 5 years have been with C#.
• Generics, LINQ, Lambda Expressions, Anonymous Method etc.
• Experience in Multi-threading.
• Good OOAD concepts.
• Experience in implementing SOA (Service Oriented Architectures).
• A solid understanding of distributed concepts.
• SQL (Oracle, SQL server or Sybase).
• Investment bank experience.
Preferred
• Knowledge of Equity Derivative products and Derivative trade lifecycle
• Exposure to UML and Agile methodology.
• Profiling and performance experience.
• Nunit or other automated unit test tools.
