ARINC is seeking a Junior Communications Engineer to work in their Corporate Headquarters located in Annapolis, Maryland, supporting the Aviation Solutions Division. The Junior Communications Engineer will work within a team in support of all phases of software engineering (requirements analysis, design, code/unit test and system integration). The individual will participate on a project to implement a communication service between aircraft and ground stations. Required Experience: - Two years or less experience with full software life cycle development. - Knowledge of C, C++, MFC, Python, Perl, SQL, Microsoft Visual Studio .Net (VC++), XML. - Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems. Desired: - Software development experience in communication software - Web-based software development experience - Experience with UNIX, preferably Linux - Experience in client/server software. The ideal candidate will be motivated and will have experience working within a group environment to design, implement and test different levels of an overall communication system.
